JETOUR T2 Takes on the Brazilian Wilderness in a Real-World Off-Road Test
SAO PAULO, Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As featured by automotive influencer Supercar Blondie, new presenter Chloe put the Chinese-built 4×4 JETOUR T2 through real-world off-road testing deep in the Brazilian wilderness, pushing its capabilities across challenging terrain.
The JETOUR T2 is designed to be a jack of all trades. It's a luxury SUV, but it's also a ‘proper’ off-roader. And it's got one extra trick up its sleeve.
The T2 was designed with the whole world in mind from the very beginning. Even though it's manufactured and assembled primarily in Asia, the T2 was designed by a former Porsche designer and comes with multiple powertrain options. The range offers both plug-in hybrid and regular gas models. That gives drivers even more flexibility.
This is crucial because while EVs are on the rise, skepticism still remains. Internal combustion and plug-in hybrid vehicles offer alternatives for drivers who remain hesitant about going fully electric.
Supercar Blondie's newest presenter, Chloe, drove the JETOUR T2 in the jungle in Brazil to test its real-world off-road capabilities.
Early in the trip, Chloe had to use the T2 to help a local farmer pull a stuck tractor out of the mud, which was only an appetizer.The vehicle features an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (XWD) system, while its winch provides additional recovery capability in challenging conditions. The JETOUR T2 XWD 4×4 offers eight driving modes.
In this case, Chloe drove the range-topping PHEV, which combines a 1.5-liter engine with three electric motors for a total installed power of 597 horsepower.
With fuel and battery power combined, the SUV offers a range of up to 1,300 km (800+ miles). It also delivers an impressive 0–100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds.
Later, she tackled mud pits and steep inclines using the vehicle's X Mode. X Mode is interesting. It is a driving mode that senses road surfaces and adjusts power and traction automatically.
This automatic adjustment helps simplify off-road driving, reducing the need for manual changes between settings. It can seamlessly shift between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, adjust torque distribution, and eliminate torque lag. It also detects mud, sand, wet roads, or regular city streets and reacts accordingly. In the video, Chloe expressed confidence that the SUV could tackle the mud, water, and steep climbs ahead.
A key strength of the T2 is the vehicle's ability to withstand up to 700 millimeters (27+ inches) of water. It also features a dedicated Water Wading Mode for water crossings.
Beyond driving, its external power supply function can power outdoor equipment, while an integrated rear-door bottle opener adds a practical touch for outdoor stops.
Chloe framed the challenge as Brazil versus the JETOUR T2, setting out to see which would come out on top.
